Names Posted Outside of Military Cemetery at Aleksandrow on Hwy. 853 about 25km S-SE of Zamość. The military cemetery in Sigla was built in 1945. Soldiers killed in battle in 1939 and exhumed from the battlefields are buried here. The cemetery was renovated in 1992 with the effort of the Aleksandrow community. Information about the soldiers as well as emblems of the Cross of Bravery were added.

1. Polish Army soldiers of General Przedrzymirski killed around Aleksandrow on September 25-26, 1939. These formations include units of Generals Olbrycht, Piekarski, Kruszewski, and Dindorf. Following capitulation of the Northern Front Army of General Dab Biernacki, these men tried to force their way through German enemy positions in order to move south towards the Hungarian border.
2. The Military cemetery in Aleksandrow-Sigla.
