Search for Polish traces in Lithuania

The former Polish "Kresy Północne" (Northern Borderlands ) is a fertile land by the Nieman and other rivers known from the polish literature.  Vilnius, Kaunas, Trakai are very popular among tourists. Unfortunately neighbouring villages  aren’t visited that often.  Yet those are the places where forgotten pieces of polish history are hidden – in Polish manor houses, Polish churches, Polish cemeteries.

Foundation is continuously indexing tracks of our countrymen in the Ukraine, Belarus and Lithuania. After every expedition thousands of photos  proving Polish character of those beloved lands are added to our database, which is widely available so you and everyone else could find those tracks.

We encourage each of you to contribute to this project – look for similar tracks and send us photos from your travels, especially from places less popular or totally unknown.

Small cemeteries, chapels, manor ruins are worth visiting. You never know, what will you find there.
